Over two days, partners presented updates on all work packages, from removing regulatory barriers and testing business models to advancing pilot implementations and communication activities. The meeting highlighted the strong progress in each country: completed energy audits in Antwerp, formal registration of the Spanish energy community in Getafe, and active engagement with companies in Sines.
The Assembly also included a visit to the Duwijck Business Park, where local companies are preparing to launch an operational Energy Community. Discussions focused on legal frameworks, financing options, and the use of the digital tools PWRfull, ZuidtrAnt, and Corsio for managing energy exchange communities.
Looking ahead, the partners agreed to focus on scaling up the pilot results, preparing WESHARE's first webinar, and expanding collaboration through the Futurium platform.
